The Castelli ceramics produced in the ancient town of Castelli (province of Teramo, in Abruzzo) are exhibited in many famous museums of the world, for example: Metropolitan museum at New York, Louvre Museum in Paris, the British Museum in London, Ermitage museum at St. Petersburg.
Castelli ceramics ( Castelli is a town which is included in the list of the hundred most beautiful historic towns in Italy) will again be admired by visitors through an exhibition in the “Palazzo municipale dell’artigianato”: an old pottery factory located in the center of Castelli (“Salita Paradiso” streat, n. 13.)
Castelli ceramics is the main tourist attraction in this country (ideal for a trip out of town being easily reached from the Adriatic coast from Rome via the A24 exit at S.Gabriele-Colledara) and during the exhibition you can admire the famous ceiling, to the sixteenth century to that of San Donato and six hundred in the current church of San Donato, which document the two monumental ceramic works are unique in Italy
